Plot: Scientist Dr. Rick Marshall (interpreted by the comic Will Ferrell) has never been appreciated, until one day when he invented a time machine. Trying his device Dr. Rick Marshall is sucked into a space-time vortex alongside his research assistant, Holly (Anna Friel) and a redneck survivalist, Will (Danny McBride). What they find there is an alternate universe full of dinosaurs and other ferocious creatures that try to, well, eat them.
