Plot: A sequel for the original Tron movie (1983) where a hacker has to use his own abilities to escape from a virtual world and take down the Master Control Program. Tron 2.0 will be in 3D and the trailer looks just fabulous in terms of special effects. Furthermore, one of its main characters is Jeff Bridges (as Kevin Flynn), the “Big Lebowski”. Sean Flynn is played by Garrett Hedlund.
Tron 2 (the movie) is actually going to be called Tron Legacy, probably not to confuse this with the game released earlier this year (Tron 2.0). However, where the game seemed to have failed, the movie hopefully will rise to the glory of the original Tron movie. Some hints that make me think it’ll be as good as the first release: Tron 2 will be in 3D (shot with Stereoscopic 3D) and will run in IMAX theaters; Steven Lisberger (directed the first Tron Movie) will be involved in Tron 2 (legacy) as a consultant; the presence of Jeff Bridges, who was a hero in the first Tron release.
One more thing, those motorcycles that follow each others are called Lightcycles, and at comic-con (a while ago) a prototype was shown (with the original Tron Legacy music in the background):
