Plot: The first official trailer of James Cameron’s “Avatar” fantasy film. It’s supposed to combine the most advanced CGI until now with a regular filming part. Based on the Avatar movie trailer, some say it will be a big hit, others that it will disappointing.
The plot finds Jake (Sam Worthington), a war veteran in a wheel chair, arriving on another planet called Pandora. This planet is inhabited by Na’vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Jake has been recruited to become part of an encroachment. Humans cannot breathe the air on Pandora, so they have created genetically-bred human-Na’vi hybrids, which are called Avatars. These Avatars are living bodies controlled by a human through a technology linking the two. Jake can be whole again through his Avatar. He is sent deep into Pandora’s beautiful jungles as a scout for soldiers that will follow, discovering Pandora’s beauties and dangers. He also meets a Na’vi female, Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), very beautiful but yet very ferocious in battle. Jake integrates into Neytiri’s clan, and falls in love with her. He finds himself caught between the military forces he serves and the Na’vi, which leads to an epic battle that will decide the fate of the world.
