Plot: The Lovely Bones is directed by Peter Jackson, so you’re correct if you think that it will have some cool special effects. The movie is centered around a 14-year old girl that starts her story explaining how she has been murdered, and continues to watch her family from heaven. However the killer is present in her afterlife too, and she must find a balance between her desire for vengeance and the desire for her family to heal and pass over her death. Her father finds evidence that leads him to the killer, but he is a dangerous man and her family’s life is threatened too.
