Plot: This is the story of Fisher Willow, the daughter of a plantation owner that takes place in Memphis in the 1920s. Fisher doesn’t like narrow-minded people and she oftens shocks and insults those around her. After she finishes her studies and returns home, she falls in love with Jimmy, the son of an alcoholic father and an insane mother working on her family’s plantation. She tries to pass him as an upper-class to convince her aunt controlling her family’s fortune, but when she loses a diamond earing (from a set that was worth well over $10000) it casts a shadow on their relationship and everything is in jeopardy. With his unique characters and breathtaking Southern sights, the movie shows a heartbreaking tale of seduction and loss.
