The trailer is in Indian but you can get the picture by watching it. Rizwan Khan (played by an Indian actor called Shahrukh Khan) is a Muslim from the Borivali section of Mumbai. He suffers from Asperger syndrome, which is a sort of socialization autism but however he believed that if you do good deeds, good things will happen to you. He marries a Hindu single mother, Mandira, in San Francisco and everything seems perfect. Until one day, 9/11/2001, when terrorists strike America, and after that date Rizwan is detained at LAX because his disability is thought to be a suspicious behavior. He is released but his name is put on a “possible terrorist” list, and he begins a journey to meet US President Obama in order to clear his name. My name is Khan attacks a subject of great interest in our days, showing the over-zelous measures taken by US to avoid terrorist attacks.
