Plot: The Yellow Handkerchief is a story about second chances. After he goes to prison for a terrible accident he was responsible for, Brett (William Hurt) is given a second chance. In a Louisiana town he meets Martine (Kristen Stewart, the Twilight beauty) and Gordy. Martine and Gordy have just met, after she jumped in his convertible not knowing where to go, soon to discover that they have in common travelling. Martine doesn’t want to travel solo with Gordy (Eddie Redmayne) so she invites Brett along. This unlikely trio starts a journey, but none know the destination. Their journey through the green of rural Louisiana is actually a journey in the depths of their souls.
