Plot: Veronica ‘Ronnie’ Miller is 17 when her life gets a new turn, as her parents are now divorced. Her father moves from the big apple, New York City, to Tybee Island, Georgia. Three years pass by, and she still is angry with her father (and away from him). And things get even stranger when her mother decides she should spend the summer on Tybee Island with him.
Her father is a former pianist and lives a quiet life in the beach town, focused on creating an work of art for the local church. From that point on a new life story begins for her, filled with love (her first love, then the love between parents and children) that demonstrates her that relationship not only can break our hearts but also heal them.
