Movie: Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)

Plot:
no, No, NO, this is the third film in the Transformers series and Megan Fox is not part of the cast. She has been replaced by a blond girl called Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, which is half as hot as she was. Even her name is difficult to remember. Megan Fox was replaced in Transformers, but why? Apparently it was her big mouth (even if I consider that to be an enormous advantage). Fox stated that it was Megan’s decision not to continue with the franchise, and that it was an amiable break-up. However rumors have it that Michael Bay got upset because of one interview Megan had where she compared him with Adolf Hitler (in an interview with Wonderland Magazine she said “He wants to be like Hitler on his sets and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for.”). Not very wise Megan, but we’re all sure you’ll be just fine now that you’re a grown up star. So that’s one of the negative aspects about the “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” movie, the other being in my opinion the title. Why didn’t they put “Dark Side of the Moon”? It just seems incomplete this way, they could have used the full name and also add as soundtrack Pink Floyd.

Back to the movie, Michael Bay said this is the last part so you can expect an epic battle. The trailer shows amazing fight scenes, and if you think you can barely keep up with those transforming robots, try to think that the movie will also be released in 3D and IMAX, which will make Avatar look like a small child in terms of 3D effects.

Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon (its dark side) that was discovered by the first human mission on the Moon (in 1969), and they have to race against the dreadful Decepticons to get to it and learn what it can do, because the first ones that learn the secrets will have the advantage in the final battle between the Transformers. Sam tries to help too, so between hot scenes with his new girlfriend and running from robots, he also has to escape what it seems to be an invasion that includes robotic worms (literally squeezing a building). Will he manage to do so, I guess we’ll find out on July 1st, 2011, when the movie reaches the theaters in US.

An accident puts however the filming in a shadow, because one of the extras was hit in the skull by a steel cable that broke, and she suffered brain injury and was paralyzed – hopefully she’ll be able to recover.
